Introduction to Subjects

To help you get started, by default a few subjects are already added according to the corresponding standard list and the board pattern followed by your school, feel free to edit/delete the same.

View Subjects

From the left menu bar, navigate to Report Card -> Subjects

• After clicking on the desired standard we get the subject list for that particular standard.

Name: Name of the subject
Optional: Is the subject optional or mandatory
Priority: The sequence in which the subjects are displayed

Set the subjects in the format followed by your school.

• Edit: In order to change any field, click on the 'Edit' button next to the standard*.
• Delete: Under Actions, click on the "Delete" button for the standard to be deleted
• Add: In order to add a new subject, click on the "+Add" button on the top right section, fill the required details and save*.

Name: Name of the Subject
Code: Code can be same as the name of the subject or you can also use abbreviated names (ex. for Mathematics the code can be Maths).
Accepts Marks/Grade: The subject is a graded subject or it accepts marks in exams
Is Optional: Whether the subject is optional for that particular standard or it is compulsory for all students belonging to that standard.
